View Full Version : Iraq Satrap Government Collapsing--Victory At Hand For Coalition

US forces are now 10 miles from Bagdad and the old Iraqi regime is collapsing.
Leftist incorrectness said that US forces were "bogged down" and "were going to lose the war." But that was typical Marxist anger and lashing out at the spreading of the idea of America.
The coalition destroyed an entire Iraqi Republican Guard division last night while thousands more Iraqi forces went into a mosque to seek safety.
It is over. Turn on your televisions. US forces will be in Baghdad tonight and the Iraqi people shall know freedom.

Less than a 2 week war? I thought we were all bogged down and confused because Rumsfeld was running the war? [This could give Helen Thomas a heart attack.]

According to the Iraqi government itself, it's all lies, and the US hasn't made any sort of advance at all. And they certainly haven't crossed the Tigris. So that's us told. "Denial" is the word that springs to mind (although in this case "Detigris" would probably be more appropriate)

I think the "bogged down" was sort of like a prayer of some type. The radical left used "bogged down" like a Christian would use the Psalms. They believed that if they said it enough, the leftist god Marx would intervene and help Iraq win.

Since the US military admitted it, are you suggesting that the military is a "bastion of leftism", JK?
I'm glad they got it straightened out, though, this war needs to end SOON.
And before you make up a position for me, once we STARTED it, we have to win it outright, and we had to make it look easy. I fear we have come close to blowing the second part of that, and I hope the reports you mention are accurate.
I do, however, have some concern about anything you report, since you have been shown to be wrong time and time again in matters involving any question of facts, from your millions of commie subversives to your claims about others' positions.
You ready yet to admit that I'm on the right-hand side of moderate, and that your propagandistic portrayal of me as a purveyor of "leftism" was a great hunk of fertilizer?
