Randi mentioned "Critical Thinker" wristbands for sale for $2.50 in the commentary. I checked out the JREF store and didn't see them there. Does anyone know how I go about ordering one of these?

Anyone in the UK seeking a critical thinker wristband, in red or brown, should look around on the ground outside the front door
of any block of flats, just after the postman has been.
These are special, Post Office approved critical thinking bands in high quality rubber.
They are free of charge.

Of course you're being facetious. But I don't get the joke... :(

I learned to touch-type in two weeks using two of these wristbands.

We get the same ones on the newspapers... unless they don't come in a plastic bag when it's raining...
But seriously, folks, can anyone tell me how I can get one of these?

Probably. But I have to ask: if you buy one then isn't that decidedly unskeptical? Ironic, eh?

Vikram- Postmen in the UK bind letter bundles with rubber bands- usually red or brown. They are notorious for dropping them in the street.
They work just as well as Sacred Red String and they're FREE!:D

I've gotta get myself one of those. And maybe change my name to Esther. ;)

Our newspapers come wrapped in gladwrap. I wouldn't like to wear one of those around my wrist.
Also, I can't think why anyone would want to wear a critical thinker wrist band. If we want to wear crucifixes around our necks then let's just do so, otherwise let's just forget about it.

I wear the blue "Critical Thinker" wristband because it occasionally gives me an opportunity to introduce people to JREF without being confrontational. I see it as a tool, useful in my efforts to encourage others to think.

A cross can be a symbol for incorrect.
Likewise, critical can mean near death.
People are surely making fun of you.

Near death, certainly!
Made fun of, often.
Incorrect, yes, that may have happened once.
Those are crosses I am willing to bear.
