-z I beg to differ. The article claims that every anti-war claim by the left has been addressed, but doesn't even mention most of them (e.g. all the issues about the wider repurcussions on the middle east and the likely knock-on effects of increased anti-west opinion around the world).

Also it says that the evidence exists today to disprove the claims of the left, which it clearly doesn't. Its pure conjecture, for example, that Saddam has chemical weapons.

In fact, the article doesn't address any of my concerns about the war. (Given that I have never thought that Saddam is not a very nasty dictator or that he has no WMDs).

Even if I accepted every word of this article as true, and accepted that everything which is claimed to have been proven has been proven, I believe that I still have good reasons to being against war at this time.

JK I've never thought of Saddam's regime as leftist, but I certainly don't deny that Saddam is losing to the coalition forces. I very much hope he does lose and loses quickly with as few casualties as possible on all sides.
