I have just updated the site with the full and true story of Coingate

When night 1 of the Devon Most Haunted Live went off the air something happened.
A coin was apparently thrown at Stuart, but this was never aired, and they tried to cover the whole thing up.

Well now i am releasing the clip and telling the true story about it.

You can go to the most haunted exposed site at

http://www.mosthauntedexposed.co.uk

or straight to the article at

http://www.jonscelebworld.com/BadPsychics/Editorials/MostHaunted/Coingate.html

Included in the article is the full 9 minute clip of coingate, as well as a transcript of what happened.

I can't wait to die, so I can throw pennies at people who dare tresspass in my domain!

Where is Scooby-Doo when you need him? I'm sure it was just Old Man Jenkins, the scruffy care-taker of the building, who is throwing pennies at intruders so they don't accidentally stumble upon his counterfieting presses in the basement.

From the transcript;

F Its not normal poltergeist activity to remove something and then throw it in such a very short time
Well, there you have it, it's not NORMAL poltergeist activity. We all know how a normal poltergeist acts.

Well, I guess this proves that all reports of hauntings are faked. Yep, you're a real sleuth.

No, but it is nonetheless another ghost hoax to add to the long history of them. We tend not to take hauntings very seriously because probability dictated by the myriad past cases of "poltergeist activity" that turned out to have been fictitious tells us we shouldn't.

I didn't really have time to watch or read this properly, what does this video suggest other than Karl is behaving suspiciously (as usual) and Yvette is getting over excited amd talking too much (as usual) .....yes I don't normally watch Most Haunted ...... also if some here think this program is an accurate representation of a typical psychic investigation by serious researchers you are being mistaken ... .... it is a TV program for those who enjoy squealing :)

so, by this logic, emus can't fly, therefore all birds can't fly.

mayday, the whole point of this is to show, again, that there has not yet been any evidence of possession, haunting, spirit photography, etc, that can stand up to empirical observation and a little common sense.

A skeptic is one who instinctively doubts or questions. Skeptics, and I know I am, are willing to re-evaluate their position on any matter, if the proper evidence is presented. I do not believe in ghosts, god, the easter bunny, etc. If someone, however, could show me, or demonstrate to me evidence of their existance, under proper conditions, then I would change my belief.
In my experience, a "believer", one who believes in these things, even though you can show them evidence as to why these things don't exist, will continue to believe anyway.

Let me put a hypothetical situation to you:
if everyone in the world stopped believing in ghosts, do you think that there would ever be another ghost sighting?
Before you dismiss this out of hand with an "of course", let me remind you that all Greeks believed in Zeus and the other Olympian gods a few thousand years ago. When they stopped believing, have any of them ever put in an appearance? Remember, that they used to pop up all over the place when people believed in them.

They mention 'spoongate'. Was that an earlier problem?

yes spoongate is another big scandal.

Basically during a live show, a 400 year old museum spoon apparently "dematerialised" then "rematerialised" as it hurled across the room.

Of course the camera only caught it in mid flight, and it just happened to come from exactly where Karl Beattie (Yvettes husband and co-producer) was standing.

Many young gullible kids thought it was real, but you can see the damage that the stunt caused to their reps just from how they talk about

And he would've gotten away with it if it weren't for you meddling kids!

lol Are you laughing at the prospect of a skeptic changing his mind? Or, like me, at the prospect of proper evidence being presented?

I was digging through an old text file on my hard drive.

This is probably old news but let me copy / paste:

Did you know...

An anagram of MEDIUM DEREK ACORAH is

OUR DEAD MAKE ME RICH

Spooky that isn't it? :D
