Wow, that's hilarious! What a hoax and he's going to be making at least $1000!
Too bad he went for chump-change. An animate, coming back from dismemberment, returning from long distances stuffed toy could certainly win him $1 million.

Sorry for the urgency of the last couple of posts - I've taken some medication, and have calmed down...
The truth... revealed! ;)

This seller could write the hind legs off a donkey. Sounds very much like an urban myth story. Why doesn't he write the book?

leaving aside the obvious absurdity of a possessed toy, surely this listing would come under the ebay "prohibited" list, as it is either
a) clearly dangerous to other stuffed toys
b) possessed, therefore can be classified as "human remains"

But how do we know it's a human spirit? It could be an angry badger or something.

Wait a minute. A few things went through my mind when I read this:
1) If it is 'possessed', shouldn't they have gone to their local clergy and asked what to do about it? I mean, aren't they supposedly knowledgeable in this sort of thing?
2) If they in fact do sell it, aren't they just passing the buck to someone else? They don't really seem to be too worried that someone else might have more adverse problems with it. Out of sight, out of mind, I guess.
3) Most importantly, the buyer probably will expect the little critter to do all those things the seller claims it does. What if it doesn't? Don't know about you, but if I spend a few thousand on a 'haunted' toy, it had better be haunted, and not some plain old gift shop relic.

Yes, but look at the bid history. There are two bidders who have raised the price from the hundreds up into the 10k range. Neither has any history or rating and both are from Canada (where the item comes from). The current high bidder joined ebay on the 24th. The bid retraction history is complicated.
Maybe the high bidder just heard about this fabulous item by chance and instantly joined ebay to get it at any cost. Maybe he is perfectly sincere. But if I were the seller, I wouldn't be planning any big purchases just yet. (Or maybe these are friends of his.)
