Hi,
Is there anyone on this forum who is part of the ECSO (European Council of Skeptic organisations)?
I'm looking for there website. I have this one:
http://www.ecso.org/
But it's not updated anymore... If someone knows another website...

I can't seem to find anywhere that ESCO has aquired another webpage, though I have a healthy link to a few skeptical related sites:

Hi,
Is there anyone on this forum who is part of the ECSO (European Council of Skeptic organisations)? ECSO is an umbrella organisation, a means by which representatives of many (all?) of the European skeptic organisations can keep in touch with each other and stay up to date with issues and news. ASKE has an ECSO rep. Do you want me to pass on a query?

But it's not updated anymore... If someone knows another website... It's probably more a case of lack of time to update rather than a deliberate neglect of the site. I'll see if I can give the powers that be a nudge.

Like Umbrella corp. in "Resident Evil"? :D Just kidding...
I think there will be in october a ECSO gathering in Brussels. I just wanna know if people knows about it. I really don't know if it will be a huge sceptic meeting or just a small one...
So that's my question... I hoped to find information about this meeting on the website and unfortunately there is none... :(

I have news about the next ECSO meeting. ;)
It'll be held in Brussells in october 2005, from thursday 13(opening ceremony during the evening) to sunday 16.
It's unofficial, but they'll be maybe James Alckock and Christopher C. French as CSICOP fellows...
I'll be there, the sunday at least (I should do a presentation of one study I did in psychology about the paranormal belief), in order to represent the "Comité Para" (the belgian french-speaking skeptic organisation).
I hope to see some of you there,
IllegalArgument

Do you have a website for the conference? I only found the site for the 2004 meeting.

Nope. No website for the moment.
The event we'll be organised by the SKEPP (the belgian dutch-speaking skeptic organisation) not the french-speaking one, so I don't know what they're planning to do for the ECSO website, and when they are planning to do it... I don't know much in fact...
I know, I know, it's Belgium, everything is so confusing :D (3 languages in the country, 2 skeptical organisations for the moment...)
For the road, a picture I took for the "free-decal csicop website"

Hi, the official website is www.esc2005.org
The ECSO website has just been updated: www.ecso.org
Anyway, ECSO is indeed more like an umbrella organisation. And yes, the site was neglected for some time, but thats arranged now.
Cheers & hope to see you on the ESC 2005,
Jan Roos
