I see Liberate Iraq lawn signs all over my neighborhood in Minnesota. I have no idea where they got them and was thinking about asking next time I see someone outside- brrrr. Anyhow, I was wondering if this is a regional thing or if any of you have seen these signs in your neighborhood? Thanks!

I haven't noticed any (Long Island) but I'll be sure to pay attention now. We do have quite a few American flags but nothing even close to what it was like after 9/11.

There was a big pro war rally in Minneapolis not long ago, maybe it came from there? There are also signs that just say Support the Troops. I haven't seen any anti-war signs. I also see a lot of flags out, but like Mel said, it is nothing like after 911.

Lately I think a lot of rallies are springing up to balance the anti-war rallies.
I can't even imagine how a soldier, far away from home, feels seeing/hearing some of the truly outrageous protesting that is going on at home.

Apparently it's mostly a Minnesota thing at the moment.

Well, (turns on the deep smooth midwestern voice) you could have them send all their refugees to Lake Woebegon, where all the children are above average. I think Bertha was looking for a some help, as was Ralph. He seems to be having trouble keeping enough RAW BITS in stock.

Us Minnesotan women would fatten them Iraqi soldiers up good, yah for sure. Plenty of beef and potatoes for them soldiers, plenty of lefse. Plenty of hard work for them to sleep sound at night for sure, yah. They can spend their afternoons fishing for walleye you betcha!

If they don't want milk, I'm pretty sure Wisconsin has cheese.

Nope. I've only seen "Enslave Iraq" signs.
I think this ant-anti-war thing is getting a little crazy. Is anyone even protesting anyomore? Save for the same 10 people that always make the news by lieing across the street.
I do see alot of yellow ribbons. Woudlnt that be an anti-war sign? Doesnt the yellow ribbon mean "bring them back", like during the Iran hostage days.

The scenes on TV of our troops taking over central Baghdad seem to be drowning out the scenes of war protesters.
I guess victory has a way of shutting them up?? :D

Or perhaps many of the people who were against starting the war (like myself) are not so stupid as to think that once it is started, we should give it up. The best thing at this point is to win it as quickly and with as little loss of life as possible.
I still think starting it was a stupid idea, but the past cannot be changed, and there is no sense in whining about it. Got to get on with life.
