Well, I'm sure that this will come as a massive blow to all Iron Maiden fans but at least we can feel a bit more comfortable about bar codes. Apparently the number of The Beast is actually a slightly disappointing 616 (http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=44169)

How long do you think it will take for the numerology-like calculations proving the devil exists to be adjusted from 666 to 616?

I had planned on starting a rumor that the 666 referred to a world population of 6.66 Gigapersons. Oh well, 6.16 Gp is just sooner.
Now, everyone go out and tell 10 others, and in 8 iterations we will achieve homeopathic saturation. :)
