The key word is "anything".

Such a quote sounds very profound.

Let's face it though. Many things are possible, under the sun. By saying "anything", rather than many things, gives the quote a more broad and powerful meaning.

And what *is* this meaning exactly? Well, I think we tie in religious and supernatural ramifications to it. It sounds like God all omniscient...the all and powerful. That God can do anything That God is the force behind it all and literally made everything so that everything under the sun is possible.

After all, we see about us evidence of a spectacular world, past and present. Evidence of dinosauers. Flying creatures. Colorful weird sea creatures. Creatures that slither. Creatures with unusual defense mechanisms. An endless array of plant/tree life with various types of exotic seeds (many we can eat).

Man has everything, seemingly at his disposal and it seems as if there are endless possibilities as to what we can do. Outerspace exploration is in it's infancy. We contemplate if man has been already visited in the past, and possibly presently by space aliens.

But everything is NOT posible under the sun, and I drive my vehicle, pondering as to why this is. Why is it al*most* all possible, but not quite *all* possible? Why?! I think there is a profound answer locked up in this question.

*DID* God design it this way, or is all this we see the result of not just billions... but *trillions* upon trillions of years of experimenting? And if the latter is true, still why isn't *every*thing possible? Why are the laws of physics limited, in such a way that billions upon billions...even trillions of interacting combinations were/are possible...yet, not *any* thing is possible?
Why is it that the only things possible are those that ascribe to the laws of physics? What put the boundries on the laws of physics and why? *Should* there be a WHY? Why or why not?

Why can't pink elephants fly? Why, if man is the chosen creature, that God? allowed an ant to fall off a 10 story buuilding and walk away, while allowing God's prized possession, man, to become squished on the cement below? Hmmmm? Why can some creatures grow new teeth and limbs, countles times, but man can't? Why isn't there perpetual motion? Why can't we shake up a set of Lincoln logs, throw in a doll of Abraham Lincoln, throw in the parts of a watch and then shake it billions or trillions of times on a shaking machine, and then drop it on the floor and witness Abraham Lincoln, in the log house, wearing the watch? In trillions of attempts, this would never occur because laws of physics will not allow it?: Why not? It's not just a matter of chance, you see. It has to do with the laws of physics itself. And on and on and on?

While you drive around today, or get ready to nod off...ponder this.

Then if you are nice, I may lay on you some other weird thing to ponder, like...if you had a 4 hour boner, would get up and giv e speech/ (just kidding)...where does the light go that misses the universe?...and how this could profoundly put a dash to the theory of the big bang...how al energy matter sprung from one location. (I may post a thread on this later.)
