I work for P&G and I posted a link to Randi's commentary on our in house message board with particular reference to Randi's comments about P&G and the Penta Water guy. Shortly thereafter I got a call from the board moderator who was concerned about the posting - not because of the P&G comment, but because of the references to ID which is a hot button sort of issue everywhere apparently. She desired not to stir up trouble within P&G about this non-business related issue. She did say I was free to copy and post Randi's P&G comments. So, I am posting to ask permission to copy and post Randi's comments about P&G and the penta water guy.
The moderator did express concern about the penta guy and is checking to confirm if it is really the case that he is has been appointed to our scientific advisory board. It is not generally a great idea to stir up controversy at a conservative place like P&G, but they are really a very fair company. I am pretty confident that I shouldn't have to worry about any personal repercussions for posting the penta stuff, but just in case, is there any chance JREF could use a used up, not very bright, moderately lazy pharmaceutical researcher?
I had entertained thought and hopes of bring Randi in as the main attraction for our pharmaceuticals company event and even corresponded with Linda about it - we are all scientists here so it seemed appropriate - but the more I think about the more I fear that maybe even for us someone who is dedicated to the actual truth of things in all things might be considered over the line.
At any rate, to repeat the point of this post in case you missed it in the midst of all this - I am asking for Randi's permission to excerpt his comment about P&G and penta water and post it to our P&G forum. Thanks and all my best, BDK
