First, it is a wire service report on the Salon site...

Second, it may be "tainted" -- however, it tells you its politics up front, opinion peices are labeled as such, and doesn't pretend to own the news, just to have an attitude about what it covers and reports...it has a "side" and you know that going in. It isn't like Fox trying to claim that it gives you the facts and let's you decide.

Also, I check out many sites I don't agree with...it is interesting and useful to know what people across a wide sepctrum are saying...

Just a thought...
