I just had some moron spam me about MS giving away money to forward emails. And here I thought that became extinct around the same time 486s did....
It never ceases to amaze me how greed can blind people to even the most obvious and ridiculous of things.
I wonder if they check gas pumps for AIDS-laced needles and are trying to find a good virus protection for the "Good Times" virus?

I was recently running antivirus software after installing the budweiser frogs screen saver and talking on my cell phone (though the tumor in my head was making hearing somewhat difficult) when I was told about this great new engine treatment by someone who knew someone who heard Lauryn Hill won't sell cd's to white people. The person I was tlaking to also blew himself up on the toilet with a loud fart and a cigarette while I was talking to him. After I called the paramedics for him, I decided that I was going to try my new rocket engine equipped dodge dart in the desert. Good thing I bailed out early because it went into the side of a cliff 100 feet up and blew itself apart! After a few day's rest with a friend in the wilderness hunting, I managed to blow off my privates when I substituted a .22 bullet for a fuse to keep the headlighs working in my pickup truck. While at the hospital being treated, I talked to the person in the bed next to me, and it turns out they were almost killed by drinking coke and eating pop rocks. When I got home, I was shocked to learn in an email that Any Kaufman has returned 20 years after faking his death! What a week! Good thing I didn't microwave anything in plastic containers, or I'd have cancerous toxins to deal with!!!

Sounds like a typical 419 (http://419eater.com/) scam.

My personal favorite of these emails is Sad Sack (http://www.snopes.com/humor/iftrue/burlap.htm)
And an interesting quote at the bottom comments that some people "who think that being skeptical means "I must ask about everything instead of ever relying upon my own brain." " ask them if the story is true.

Of course you know that the word 'gullible' can't be found in any dictionary, right?
