Can't alphabetize my links: now wtf

When I try the "sort by name" thing on my bookmarked links in the "Links" folder of IE, it does it.....but when I close IE and come back in, they're out of order again. Any ideas?

Hmmm, since I replied to your question in the other forum, I'll give this one a whirl since nobody has been along to sort you out. That said, you may not like my solution. IE blows!. Use something else. I have to use IE on one of our LANs at work and I cuss up a storm the whole time. The advantages of browsers like Firefox, Opera, Netscape, and Mozilla are too many to get into. I suppose, though, that it's possible that you're tied to IE somehow. If not, my first recommendation is:

Firefox (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/)

If you want something more robust (like having a web composer), try:

Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org/products/mozilla1.x/)

The Mozilla org also has a huge forum if you have problems or questions. Or ask back here. :)

lol - thx for the reply. And naturally IE sucks - it's made by Microblow, after all. Anyway, can't use the above due to not being allowed at work, but I did find a workaround of sorts: renamed the "Links" folder to something else. Then the sort sticks. Great technology MS. :rolleyes:
