Bai is seeking damages totaling $300 million - the approximate equivalent of the mission's cost - for her "moral sufferings," Izvestia said, citing her lawyer Alexander Molokhov. She earlier told the paper that the experiment would "deform her horoscope."

Way to be friendly with the rolleyes Hans.

DU thread about this subject. (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=228x7656)

I lurk there. I like poster Codeine's comment about science being attacked from the right and the left. The right has the freak fundamentalists and the left has the new age type spellcasters.

Can't some kind of action be filed against the astrologer for bringing a frivolous lawsuit?

This is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen. An attorney who takes a case like this, needs to be given a good ole Texas ass whoopin.

I admire the arrogance of ground-bound mudgrubbers who think they own the stuff up there -- because they feel good claiming they do!

Nah, it's all open for grabs by the first ones to get there.
