The following article describes a quack being sentenced for practicing w/o a license.
I'd like to know if he could have obtained a license had he wished to.

Funny part:
The woman was treated several times in Miller's apartment. His treatment consisted of magnets, nebulizers and doses of "Doc Miller's Classic Formula," according to the state's attorney's office.
In addition to the aforementioned charges, Miller initially was charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse when he was arrested in March. The charge was dismissed.
What is this, Wacko Jacko -the pedophilia +the audacity to practice "medicine"!?
Serious part:
"There is nothing worse than peddling false hope," State's Attorney Joe Birkett said in a press release. "The defendant took advantage of these victims in the most despicable way. These people came to him with hope for a cure and money to pay it. This man duped them out of both."
Well the State's Attorney took the words right out of my mouth. Well I would have added that such "medical practitioners" should be put on a blacklist. All names on the blacklist would be denied real medicine in the event of serious illness. Live by BS "medicine", die by BS "medicine".
