We've already had an almight barney on this subject. IIRC you were adamant that the above was not the case.
At the risk of setting this off again....
Not only is debt relief no sufficient to relieve world povery, it is also not necessary.
In other words we are wasting effort and angst on the wrong thing.

Uh? I think I either didn't make myself clear, and you didn't get my point, or you are not understanding Stiglitz's opinion. I don't remember ever saying that debt relief was enough. I do think it's necessary, though.
