Yep. The latest add on TV has 'Janette Wilson' healing something that 'doctors cant fix'.

I suggest all the Kiwis on this forum check it out this thursday. Tv3.co.nz has the right times but I think its 7:30pm.

I really wanna email this bitch & tell her about the JREF prize but I really don't know what to say. I'm no good with these officialeese letters. :(

Maybe some of you guys could help me out?

Janette Wilson is healing stupidity?

But Dr Who is on Prime at the same time, oh the tough decision.

*Gets video ready*

my 5c - I'd rather be entertained by watching Dr Who than being driven to vent my spleen due to a deluded idiot.

I don't think I could sit through Ms Wilson's show without wanting to reach for a clue-by-four. Or LART. Or the remote to change the channel!

(my, my, such anger there...)

Well lets do something about this slag. I don't know what to do. It would be cool to publicly expose her.

I've seen that she wears an ear-piece. Could she be getting clues from backstage? We've seen this happen before. Like that christian guy on tv who got people to throw away their medicines. Randi went in with a radio scanner & recorded his wife giving him ques.

Randi aired it on tv or something & exposed him. What can we do about this Janette Wilson woman?

Get a ticket to the show, a scanner, and a recorder of some sort. Make sure what comes through the scanner is recorded.

Find out what frequency she is getting her clues on, record it, then send copies of the tape to every radio and tv personality you can.

Chances are she is using (if she's up to date) a diversity UHF transmitter. I highly doubt an earpiece could decode scrambled transmission with her budget, so it's probably readily recieved as clear speech.

The ranges for these types of transmitters are as follows:

300 MHz and 3.0 GHz

If she's got an older unit using VHF frequencies, those typically are in these ranges:

30 MHz to 300 MHz

Anyuthing higher than UHF is into the microwave range, and I doubt she's got the cash to fund that. Though again, I could be wrong.

Give it a shot.

Surely there's a sound geek kiwi that can help?

I know you can get a fairly good deal on ebay for used scanners. I'm sure there are other used electronics outlets on the net.

As for the recorder, a cheap microcassette is easily (and cheaply) used for this. Again, ebay probably has some good deals.

Let me know if you need any help locating gear, I can probably scare up some online deals...
