I don't know if this has been discussed here previously. If so, please direct me to that thread.

What is the scoop on these miracle devices? Take the Ceragem bed as an example. Below are the principles behind this device. Of course, there are testimonials and articles all over claiming many miraculous recoveries from decease. Is there anything to this chissage?

One of the Beds (http://www.ceragem.com)
One of the Centers (http://www.backtochi.com)
One News Report (http://www1.wsvn.com/features/articles/medicalreports/S233/)

Princicles Behind Ceragem Bed

Integrated Alternative Medicine Methods

The following are the alternative medicine methods used in CERAGEM:

Chiropractic

Chiropractic is one of the advanced alternative medicine methods widely practiced in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Chiropractic means practice done by hand to relieve compressed nerves by correcting the spinal alignment. A correctly aligned spine stimulates the system and allow the body to return to its natural rhythms.

Massage relaxes muscles and tendons around the spine, relieving pressure on the spinal cord, unblocking nerves, and adjusting the spine. Massaging also stretches the spine to release pressure from the gel-like discs that act as cushions between each vertebrae, which are the bones that comprise the spinal column.

As we age, our backs stiffen, and for some of us, our backs will become weak enough to cause a hunch. Spinal massaging prevents stiffening and weakening of the back, and is the first part of the CERAGEM session.

Moxibustion

Moxibustion effect is derived from the principles of Eastern medicine. Moxibustion uses heat derived from a specific material to aid in healing and relaxation.

Jade

Jade is a semiprecious stone which has been used in Eastern medicine to stimulate qi, the life the life force in our bodies. The projectors in the Ceragem are covered by jade, which is also valued for its ability to hold and transmit heat.

recoveries from decease.

The bed brought someone back from the dead? WOW! ;)

I met a medical doctor on a cruise who swore a magnetic bed cured his sore back. He didn't want to hear that just having a new mattress may have helped, it was definitely the magnet

This world is filled with all kinds of stupid.

True story: I had a blister on my foot that just would not heal - I went on a drinking binge last weekend and Monday morning it was gone. Therefore - binge drinking cures blisters. Same logic - IMO.

These cases may be a bit different from your blister. People are claiming to be cured from cronic conditions. I went to one of these places and some have actually left their medications on display there. Of course, there is the usual "Hooray for the Tigers" charade prior to using the device.

True enough - those types of situations probably fall more in line with the delusional types that leave their crutches and wheelchairs at the faith healer's alter.

I'm still goint to continue experimenting to see how many things I can cure/prevent with heavy drinking. I'll let you know the results.
