About 170 Santas from all over the world will meet monday in the oldest amusement park in the world, Bakken, north of Copenhagen, to participate in the 42nd Santa Congress.

The menu is rice pudding, klejner (a cookie, deep-fried) and lots of goodies.

Subjects this year are work-related: Santa's admission to the European Astronaut Corps and EU-standardized chimneys.

Naturally, they will vote on where Santa's home is, which, of course, is Greenland.

All 1190 of them won't eat. Only 595 of them will.

Bakken is situated in a big forest with a lot of free-ranging deer. They'll feel right at home...

This is definitely Santa , not Satan , right?

Of course I don't exist. There is no such thing as Satan...er...um, Santa. BUT...if I do exist (and I am by no means admitting anything), I might tell you that my reindeer are magical creatures and do not require sustenance in the same form as "normal" reindeer. This is all pure speculation, because, as I have stated already, I do not exist.

I will also admit nothing regarding rumors insinuating Santa and Satan are the same entity.

So, given you don't exist- will you be trying for the JREF $1million? Sounds like a shoo-in to me.

There is absolutely no scientific evidence to suggest there is a Rudolf - he is purely a construct of a poor lyricist's imagination. We all know there are only 6 true reindeer (ie there will be 1020 in total).

And..., Claus,

What is this Greenland nonsense?
Everyone knows Santa is from Lapland.

Renowned Santaologist Clement Moore put the figure at 8 which would put the total at 1360 (1530 if we accept the word of Johnny Marks (but he's been widely discredited)).

As an additional note, many people are surprised to learn that all of Santa's reindeer are apparently female.

My bad - I meant 8 per Santa, not 6.

That kind of heresy will be met with a Viking invasion.

Lol!

I missed there was a Santa with a sweedish flag in that picture, It's kind of like an optical illusion. I better stare at the picture for another 10 minutes.

There is perfectly good evidence of the historicity of Santa, for example that he was born in Patara around AD 270.

There may be some inaccuracies in the accounts we have of his life, (for example there is scholarly dispute on the correct spelling of Rudolph).

It can be mathematically proved there is a 97% probability that he delivers presents around the world by flying sleigh.
