For about a year, I've been getting emails from different websites that ask you to "click here" in order to help different groups.

For instance, "The Breast Cancer Site" states

Please click the "Fund Free Mammograms" button at The Breast
Cancer Site ( http://www.thebreastcancersite.com/BCSreminderSA )
to help provide free mammograms to underprivileged women.

The site then takes you to a page with a number of items that can be purchased, also helping to fund free mammograms, along with a number of sponsors. It wasn't until today that I actually took a closer look at who is helping this site. One sponsor (surprise, surprise) is for the Celebrity Psychic.com. http://www.celebritypsychic.com/

That threw up a red flag for me. I smell ************!

Anybody have opinions or info on these sites?

For a good cause like this, I don't really care who the sponsors are. I never actually pay much attention to the banners etc after I have clicked the help link, and I doubt a large percentage of people who use these sites do either.

I can't think of a better way to channel the money of these types of sponsors, actually. At least they can do some measure of good by this.
