My web site (holysmoke.org) generates a high volume of email, much of it angry, angst-riddled, abusive, threatening, and / or sadly insane. Every day I get one or two emails like the following, and now and then I try to help the person figure out how to help themselves improve their mental and emotional lives. Most of the time I do not try, since it is generally not possible. From studiyng a pre-historic site in Ireland, given
the year and date of birth i can foretell thye human
female monthly periods for any givin year in advance
This applies to regular and irregular periods
It can also apply to those in advanced years.
The above periods have more to do with the earths
magnetic field rather than the moons cycles.
I expect a big monetary percentage from sameMy query for more information generated the following reply.1. I can foretell the human female monthly period
2. Pro. I am the only person who can foretell the same
3. It is all done based on drawings. (Debate is no use)
4. I do not wish to disclose the drawings. (not yet)
5. The international federation of gynacologists and obstetricsFrom the 15 or 20 such emails I get every week, I try to answer at least one.... but this one has me stumped.

Does anyone know what this person is claiming? That is, has anyone come across similar claims elsewhere?

I don't get mine any more, but if you like I can send my daughter's date of birth, and we can see if he can accurately predict when her periods are due.

We could try mine as well, since if he can tell irregular periods, maybe he can also determine when they stop?

Biggest problem I see is that he expects monetary reward for doing so.

Is there even an International Federation of Gynecology and Obstectrics?

I agree with Cabby. This person isn't going to agree to be tested if (s)he is after money. Did you inform them of the JREF challenge?

Greetings. I have not replied to the second email because I did not know what to write. It is likely I will continue to receive similar replies that make just as much sense.

I will mention the JREF challenge, since the claim appears (as far as one can tell) to be a paranormal one.

I think he's claiming to be an idiot.

I think he has a case.

The writing style is much like this:

(That is, it makes no sense in a similar way).

Also mentioned is 'helio-magnetic energy'. Sounds full of promise for all kinds of weird claims.

I hereby dub it "HMe" to give it a nice TLA to get it started.
