I hadn't seen the Popoff video before. Very interesting.

I just saw a new ad for a faith healer coming through southern California's arenas on the "Miracle Crusade" tour. It look so much like that Popoff video I'd assume these new faith healers stole their routines from Popoff.

I've always wanted to watch that video. Never really get an opportunity to see it on TV. I wonder why?

I am going to be sick. Popoff is on BET right now, he sells "miracle water". All these people are talking about how it cured cancer, made them rich, and even no joke improved their credit rating.
How is this clown still going I dont understand. You cant debunk anyone more than he was. Wow Im discouraged.

Religious strawhat on:
Popoff was caught by an evil godless man in cheating just a little for the greater good: Spreading the word of god, and helping sick and injured people all over the country.

I can't get it. One more easily accessible would be great for a class.

Yep, I saw him on TV late late at night about a month ago here in TX. Ridiculous.

I've been following "Faith Healers" since the eighties when I read Randi's wonderful book. I even have the Popoff and "Psychic Surgery" Tonight Show appearances on Betamax tapes.
Popoff is, indeed, still on the air. The easiest place to catch him is on BET after 3am. He's mostly using old crusade footage but editing out the parts where calls people's names, addresses, and ailment. He's even got a streaming version of the program on his website...

Robert Tilton is also still broadcasting after everything that happened to him. His programs are not as entertaining as they once were. Unless, of course, you happen to catch one where his wife is singing. ;)
If you're interested, I strongly recommend checking out a guy called Kerney Thomas. He too can be seen on BET...

I'd dare say he's the best healer I've seen in years, even capable of healing people over the telephone (though he always seems to pronounce it "telefoam"). His schtick is something that must be seen to be believed.
I don't know if Randi reads this stuff of not but, if so, would you PLEASE do something about Benny Hinn? This monster just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Welcome to the board, xiaNaix.
Yeah, I'd also like to see someone tear apart Benny Hinn. I do, however, remember one show someone, somewhere did on him. Had his manager relating a story about him insisting to Hinn that he not tell the stories he made up about magically poofing away a pacemaker or bringing a guy back from the dead.

The CBC's "Fifth Estate" did a pretty good Exposé on Hinn. There's also a book and DVD from The Wittenburg Door...

Wow...I can't believe people still buy Gellers big steaming pile of feces after that.
AS for Popoff...he is a lizard.
