This issue has been building in my local area, but the guy finally filed in Federal court. I think he has a point, but does anyone know the constitutional issues on this? As I understand it, polling places cannot be situated anywhere that would exclude access to any voter (designating a white only club as a polling place is an example I've heard from the Jim Crow days). However, local rabbis say there is nothing prohibiting Mr. Meltzer from entering a church to vote (per an earlier article that I cannot find now).
