Architecture is one of the arts, no? If not I apologize and ask the mods to move this where it belongs.
The Turning Torso (http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe/08/27/sweden.skyscraper.ap/index.html) skyscraper just opened. You can catch the official website (including an English translation) here (http://www.turningtorso.com/).
Is this not the coolest residential building ever? I want to rent an apartment there. Better, I want to rent an apartment across the street so I can look at it.

Yes, architecture is art.
And the building is way beyond cool!
And unless you are filthy rich, I doubt you could afford to live there.

I find such comments really interesting. It demonstrates how different people think and I find this fascinating. When I saw the tower at the news I found it horrible and I was wondering why people violate their vision with such monstrous buildings. It's impressive yes but how many times can you see this building? I bet that after people seing it for 10 days they will hate it.BUT I find your approach interesting. I will try to look at it with your eyes.

*snip*
There is a German saying, "Wer nichts wird, wird Wirt" - roughly, "if you fail at everything else, open a restaurant"... :D

:D I will quote you.
It's funny though because the restaurant business is one of the hardest ones.
