Has the backlash from 9/11 and the Iraq war gone too far:

Are we in for another fiasco a la the Japanese-American one in World War II?

It sounds like your government has been reading Australia's border protections laws.

Never is too far for nations and people that think their power is based in weapons.

Thanks,

I wonder whether those who sailed on the Mayflower would agree.

Freedom was not free. It was won at the end of a barrel of a gun.

If it was just a matter of who had the bigger gun, the U.S. would have lost the Revolution. And India would still be a colony!

So what has this guy actually done wrong.

The number of refugees has been tipped to rise for many years, and is doing so. Trying to fit all of them into the West is not the answer. It is a very difficult problem that all sides need to work on to solve.

But demonising people and blaming them for being refugees, either of the political or economic type, is disgraceful. I thought 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness' were the ideals of the US. All they are doing is seeking that. The USA can't take in the whole world, but just being indifferent to people is not reasonable either.
