View Full Version : So Who's To Blame?

When 9/11 happened, people like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell said that because of the feminists, abortionists, ACLU and hom-o-SEX-uals running rampant in New York City, all consorting to throw GOD out of the classrooms and courtrooms, that GOD punished us with the terrorist attacks.
Now who's he going to blame for Hurricane Katrina? I mean, it hit right in the middle of the white, God-fearing Bible belt, not like where all the brown-skinned Muslims lived in Indonesia and Thailand when the tsunami came ashore a few months ago. So who's to blame, Jerry? Inquiring minds want to know.

Looks like some people started to blame those in favor of keeping abortion legal:

Easily explained.
When God visits disasters on the unbelievers, he does so to punish them for not believing.
When God visits disasters on the believers, he does it to test their faith, which should be all the stronger after a disaster.
In the Bible, God is just as nasty to his friends as to his enemies.

I watched 'Cops' from New Orleans once. The police were going around arresting young girls for exposing their lady berries. That is who caused the hurricane to kill so many and cause such widespread destruction and misery!

Praying for God to destroy your enemies and such is taking the Lord's name in vain. Besides, I think Horus had the Hurricane power.

No no no, it was the women flashing for beads during Mardi Gras! God knew that if he didn't do something about this horrendous tradition, that it would spread and he'd be forced to flood the whole world again. So this was really a pre-emptive strike.

Sigh. There will always be those who hold to the view that "Everything happens for a reason," by which they mean that the hand of the Almighty is controlling everything.
This view is foolish, because it inevitably leads on a fool's errand: trying to deduce "what the Almighty is telling us" when He sends hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, and other natural events that cause a high degree of human suffering.

Read this (http://www.repentamerica.com/pr_hurricanekatrina.html)
I feel this sought of thing will only turn the tide against those bibliolatrous religious zealots once and for all. Americans of the future may well state "once there days when these great stadiums were filled to the rafters with dedicated believers in the Lord as the tele-evangelists spread the word of the Lord. That was before those nightmare days of Sep 2005 when a certain stadium in New Orleans was just filled with death and misery and many of us Americans had gotten completely p***ed off with him".

Someone else blaming the gays:

And here's another:
http://headlines.agapepress.org/archive/9/22005b.asp“New Orleans now is abortion free. New Orleans now is Mardi Gras free. New Orleans now is free of Southern Decadence and the sodomites, the witchcraft workers, false religion -- it's free of all of those things now," Shanks says. "God simply, I believe, in His mercy purged all of that stuff out of there -- and now we're going to start over again."

From the intellectually sterile world of Fundies Say the Darndest Things (http://www.fstdt.com):
"New Orleans, and much of Mississippi have become uninhabitable.
God has pronounced judgement on the city.
Men and women were given time to repent, to stop, to TURN THEIR HEARTS AND MINDS TO GOD, and they laughed at the warnings,or chafed and shook their fist at God. They refused to turn from their sins.
Sodom and Gomorrah?"

"not too long ago I posted something about G-d Judging those who would Divide The holy land. This hurrican is a direct judgement from G-D against those involved in messing with His chosen Nation, Israel.
The post I put up said if The Jews are removed from the Land, Gaza is part of the land, just watch the news because Some disasster will follow this tragic event. And I said it won't take long to see it take place."
ET Guy, Bibleforums.org (http://www.fstdt.com/comments.asp?id=7728)
"I got a chance to visit New Orleans for the first time ever July 2005 and I couldn't believe the wickedness that was allowed and accepted throughout what they called the French Quarters on Bourbon Street. All of the accepted sin and wickedness that went on for blocks in the downtown area seven days a week looked and smelled just like New Orleans looks now. Everything from the Hustler women dancing exotically in the streets (Hustler Maganize had their own building territory), transvestites performing in the night clubs, bars full of drunk people, women flashing their breasts throughout the streets-no Ma'de Celebration needed, people drunk like zombies walking into buildings and parked cars, females dancing nasty just to get men to buy alcohol from them in test tubes, and worst of all, all of this sin has been done and handed down for many generations to where it became sin done up and down the public street tamed and accepted by the city, the law enforcement officials, the entire government of the United States, etc…as the norm. Everybody saw, knew it was going on-and looked the other way. Maybe no one every attempted to stop it because of the value they placed on the people in the city. Now that lack of value is about to cost a hefty penny.
Not only that, almost everything in New Orleans has the name “Voodoo” on it. From the stores to the restaurants. Something is wrong with that. How can a so many people who know God, still worship powers of darkness?"
cherith, Bibleforums.org (http://www.fstdt.com/comments.asp?id=7737)
"I am glad that as much of it [New Orleans] is gone as possible. However, Satan made sure he held the water away from his sess-poll of sin and left the French Quarters in tact. Funny thing is that it is up on a high slab and the people's neighborhood houses were built low to sea leavel. God will always win. With that river and lake around those unpredictable levees that is the last place anyone will want to have a convention at or live at until they straighten up and walk right."
cherith, Bibleforums.org (http://www.fstdt.com/comments.asp?id=7747)
So there you have it. God guided Hurricane Katrina into New Orleans because they are sinful Mardi Gras, because the Jews were removed from Gaza, because they practice voodoo, and because of the French.
Thanks a lot, God.

I wonder if any of these "god fearing" individuals are lending a hand to help those in need because of this tradgedy? Oh, wait, I know, they probably aren't. they are too busy wagging their fingers at them while the parents and children of the victims die.
These idiots disgust me.
I wanted to write an email to repent america, but they shut off the ability to. I guess there was a lot of hate mail for their disgusting article. I did send one to the other org.

Pat hasn't had time to let us know what caused the hurricane. He was too busy getting God to kill another Supreme.
Be patient. I'm sure Pat will let us know exactly what caused Katrina.
Pat is a very busy man working with God to fix the world, you know.

I think God is mad at us nowadays for naming every other hurricane after a male, rather than all after females like oughta be!
Such a tremendous loss to romantic culture.
No, seriously.

Evidently God will be mad at him if he uses the "o" in "God".
Any religious people out there? Why would a nutcase god who gets upset at people using his name be deserving of worship? (And "God" isn't his name. It's a generic classification of a type of thing. "Yaweh" is his name, AKA Jehova, both derived from differing expansions of the vowel-less YHWH.)
And isn't this just a throwback to superstition, wherein knowing something's "real name" gives you power over it? And spelling out God's real name gives you power over God?

Note how God tried his him-damned best to get rid of that awful, sin-loaded city, but the devil overpowerd him and kept the evil-est part from being flooded.
Well, if God can't defeat mere iron chariots, I guess he'd have major problems defeating Lucifer. Note God's favorite, the poor, are mostly homeless, jobless, if not floating face down right now.
Murdering the innocent as a by-product of executing the evil is God's style, remember, so this isn't out of character for Him.
