What is the name of the theory that our universe is only a atom, which makes up a larger atom, which makes up another, and so on and so on?
Does anybody ever think about this theory or its possibility?3
EDIT: sorry...meant atom. Good catch.

Do you mean 'atom' not 'molecule'?
It comes from the old representation of the atom as a sphere with neat little electron spheres whizzing round it.
The actual nature of the atom is not really anything like that.
I don't think anyone takes this theory as seriously possible or reflective of the nature of matter (outside of some older science fiction stories).
