There, there. It's alright.
Do you think her head is still in the past? Good thing her ample bosom was able to time warp, anyway.

No. It's a headless floating Blood Knight from Vandal Hearts out for revenge after I whacked it for 63 damage.

OK, this just has to be bogus. Maybe I'll never be able to see a ghost in that picture, but I know I'd spot an "ample bosom" if it was there.

It's nothing more than a really crappy photograph.

Well, there's two ghostly pairs of ample bosoms at the top of the picture :D
The ghost itself though - it's a marmoset.

Looks like a flash reflection and the shutter speed was slow. I'd be surprised if this is a digital photo.

I fully appreciate skepticism, without it the world would be a wacky place. That doesn't mean I appreciate mocking and sarcasm and someone using material they have been told not to.
Me...Hey...I've got permission to use any picture i like...From God himself...He told me in a vision....
Problem is, God doesn't own it, I do. ;)
As for hundreds of sites seeing this pic, I very much doubt it. Azrael is banned from far too many to ever get chance to post them. Aint that right John?

Yep, thanx for that BronzeDog, he's also known as Azrael 5 on here.
I have no qualms arguing the authenticity of a picture, but people are entitled to protect their material, regardless of how "laughable" it may seem.
I'm sure I would get a flee in the ear should I start publishing material from this site without permission from the authors/owners.

Depends largely on the circumstances, I imagine. I personally find a lot of the copyright gestapo out there are trying to suppress legitimate criticism, rather than protect anything.
Unless Azrael is costing you money, somehow, I don't think there's really all that much damage being done.

To be honest the content means nothing to me..it's more a thing of principal.
As someone who owns a site I prefer my wishes regarding that site and its material to be adhered to. Don't get me wrong, most sites if not all use material from other sources, but should I be asked to remove said material I would, and have done so in the past.

Apart from the basic silliness of spirit pictures, I can't get it into my head how these people expect anybody to have an opinion on a pictue when you don't know what the room is supposed to look like. Why don't they at least take a reference picture, and post it?

Thats the problem...
You 'wish'...
You are claiming that you own exclusive, 100% rights to that photo, which i have recently seen on other sites....
You see..some sites will remove material....
Some sites want 'proof positive' that you actually have the complete rights to an item...
And that involves a lot of work...which i doubt you have the time, or the money for...
Never claim exclusive rights to anything...unless you got a lawyer to back you up...
Maybe the pic will be removed...maybe it won't...
Who knows...?

Like i said earlier...

And what's up with that piece of electronics on the ugly orange chair?
That's a serious fire hazard. Maybe there'll be even more ghosts to photograph after the house burns down!

Lisa, it is probably not worth the bother, but I can tell you that I have plrenty of pictures with blobs/orbs like the one on the cat picture. It is due to a tiny dried-up droplet of something on the lens, and I have removed mine now. If they have used the same camera for many pictures around the house, they should have plenty of pictures with orbs. But it only shows up on dark backgrounds.

My reason for not wishing to see it here are the same reasons for not wishing to see it on any other site, be it a believers or skeptics site. The original owner did not wish to see her pic elswhere. As the owner of that site I had a duty to respect her wishes and so did/
Regardless of its content, I am inclined to uphold the wishes of people should they so request it.
I myself have material that belongs to other sources. I am sure that other site owners will tell you that the protocol is to ask. If permission is refused then so be it. She refused as I did.
I tend to think the image is nothing more than poor digital photography with no paranormal evidence...or should I say I am certain it's not paranormal, not wishing to leave the door open for the skeptics to fry me for not totally ruling it out. ;)

Well I must say that being a new member on this site, I am terribly dissapointed with the childishness of the members here. I came on here to see some intelligent conversation and information. I happened along this thread, and decided to check it out. To see your joking regarding a person's picture, then your outrageous insistence that you should be able to show whatever you choose, even if the owner has refused permission that it be shown...well I find you quite a childish bunch indeed.
For a supposed "intellectually" enriched type of site...I find your attitude shameful.

I don't know what was in the PM which prompted Darat to remove the picture, but all we have on this thread is a person claiming to own a picture which he admits was not taken by him.
I have to ask, how do we know who owns a digital picture?

I've tried to stay out of this argument, but there is an important point missing from the discussion.
This is a site for the discussion and critcial examination of paranormal claims. The photo included was claimed to show a ghost and was included on this site to discuss and critique those claims. Fair use allows copying of a work for criticism and discussion without requiring the permission of the owner of the copyright. I'm willing to bet that the publication of the photo in this instance falls well within the realms of Fair Use and thus no permission was necessary. As for the wishes of the owner of the photo, I suggest that if she didn't want to see it posted on another site, then she shouldn't have posted it to a publicly accessible website to begin with.

Well Kip, so far your first 4 posts have all been respondiong to Azrael. It appears that you joined solely to debate with him.
There of plenty of other interesting threadds on this site - perhaps if you have a look aroud you might find some that you prefer.
Or if you only came here to argue with Azrael then that's fine too. But you can't really then make generalisations about the site when you are only here because of a single poster.
I'm sure time will tell what your reasons are for visiting this site.

Actually I was not resoponding to Azrael on this..I was responding to the posts in this thread.
To respond to your quote....yes I have stayed in this area of the forum, as this is as far as I have gotten on this site as time has permitted me...and here is where I began.
Whether I continue on depends on how interested I am in all of the other information I see here....which is a large amount! I will browse as I can...but I assure you that I have not come on here solely to "debate" with one person. And my comments were not aimed at one person either...were they?
So you can judge what I say or what I look at if you choose...but is that really necessary? Isn't this forum free and open to all who choose to register and look round? Is there some "rule" as to where I go and whom I respond to? And FYI....I apologise if I judged too quickly....as I think that I did.
