My son (18 next week) grew his hair out pretty long. Thinks he's real cool too.

His friends started calling him Jesus a couple of years ago. The phone rings and somebody asks "Is Jesus there" and I say yes and neither of us are joking. Now he is getting mail addressed to Jesus from the Army recruiters and from colleges.

He has never posted an annoying Shemp thread, but I will ask him to if you want.

I don't believe they are meant to be taken seriously. I personally find them to be amusing and good for a laugh now and then.

I can see how the religious might be offended by them though.
