At Easter time, it is too easy for us to forget the worst, filthiest, most despicable religious jackal of all, Muhammad.

After all, Jesus' existence is open to question; and if he did exist, at worst, he was a deranged lunatic. But Muhammad existence is beyond question, and he was definitely a maniacal killer, child rapist, looter, genocidalist, and all around unwashed scumbag.

Here are a few examples from the writings of Zulfikar Khan (http://www.flex.com/~jai/satyamevajayate/). Please note than he gives permission to quote his writings fully:

Note: I, Zulfikar Khan grant the visitor of this web site the right to freely distribute the above mentioned articles written by me if he/she should so desire. They may do so provided that they do not alter the original contents of these articles.

So as not to alter the meaning or take anything out of context, I shall quote this full section of his writings.

1) Massacre of unarmed merchants during sacred month
Date: Late January(Rejeb), 623 A.D.
Place: Nakhla
Victims: 4 Merchants from Quraysh tribe of Mecca, the Tribe to which Mohammed himself belonged

Four UNARMED merchants were travelling to Mecca to sell their goods consisting of raisins, honey and animal skins. It was the holy month of Rejeb which was considered sacred for trade in Arabia. It was a point of honor that any form of warfare or violence was strictly forbidden in this month. Mohammed's gang attacked the helpless men from behind and stabbed two of them to death. They plundered all the goods as booty and Mohammed got one fifths of the share.

This shows the utter lack of morals or scruples on Mohammed's part. The Prophet of Islam did not possess a shred of pity or kindness, or the slightest sense of justice. He cold-bloodedly murdered two innocent people who had never done him any harm and did not even know him! All this was done in a month that the Prophet himself declared was a sacred month in which no warfare should take place. Mohammed was obviously motivated by nothing but hatred and greed.

Conveniently divine revelations came down from Allah that absolved him of all the guilt.

Koran 2:216
"Warfare is ordained for you, though it is hateful unto you; but it may happen that you hate a thing which is good for you and it may happen that you love a thing which is bad for you. Allah knoweth, you knew not."

Here Mohammed is completely removing all blame from himself, for having started the fighting. The most insidious and devilish implication of this verse is that Allah is completely justifying Mohammed's murder of the innocent Meccans. Over and above this Mohammed is conveniently implying that warfare is hateful to him, but he participated in it because it was ordained by Allah! What sacrifices the "Apostle of Peace" had to make!

Koran 2:217
"They question you (O Mohammed) with regard to warfare in the sacred month. Say: Warfare therein is a great transgression but to turn men from the way of Allah and to disbelive in Him and the inviolable place of worship and to expel its people thence is a greater transgression, for persecution is worse than killing"

Here Allah is clearly saying that to kill or create warfare in the sacred month of Rejeb is a very grave offence, but to justify his own violation of Allah's rules, Mohammed comes up with the idea that since the people killed were unbelievers, it was perfectly okay! The reason given for the horrific murder of the innocent Meccans, is the fact that they did not believe in Mohammed's version of God. How much more tolerant and kind could the "Great Prophet" be!

"In the Bulls___ Department, a businessman can't hold a candle to a clergyman. 'Cause I gotta tell you the truth, folks. When it comes to bulls___, big-time, major league bulls___, you have to stand in awe of the all-time champion of false promises and exaggerated claims, religion. No contest. No contest. Religion. Religion easily has the greatest bulls___ story ever told. Think about it. Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time!

But He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He's all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can't handle money! Religion takes in billions of dollars, they pay no taxes, and they always need a little more. Now, you talk about a good bulls___ story. Holy S___!"

That being said, do you really think Muhammad is worse than L. Ron?

I think we all agree that Muhammed (pbuh) may not have been exactly a nice guy, according to today's standards. But to argue this:So as not to alter the meaning or take anything out of contextis ridiculous! After all the person you quote took the passages out of context himself.

Note that he didn't even quote the entire sunna 2:217... This is the rest of it:and they will not cease fighting with you until they turn you back from your religion, if they can; and whoever of you turns back from his religion, then he dies while an unbeliever-- these it is whose works shall go for nothing in this world and the hereafter, and they are the inmates of the fire; therein they shall abide.Apperently this is about defending ones own religion against people who want to convert Muslims and will not stop fighting until they succeed.

Still bad, but not much different from some of the war rhetoric we hear about today...

Also note that the online Koran I use (http://www.hti.umich.edu/cgi/k/koran/koran-idx?type=DIV0&byte=1320) as a reference uses the word 'fighting' instead of 'warfare'.

Of course this may be both accurate translations, but could it be that the author you quote used the worst possible translation to prove his anti-Islamic point?

Ok you agree we wasn’t a nice guy does this mean you think he just might have been a murderer and rapist slave owner?
It can also be argued that you are taking the passages out of context.

There are hundreds of quotes from Muhammad in the Hadith as bad or worse. Allah is every bit as mean spirited in the Qur’an. For example, in the Qur’an 47 Allah says, “When you clash with the [Christian] infidels smite their necks until you overpower them, then hold them in bondage…taking a ransom. I could have killed them Myself but I want to test your followers, [Muhammad]. I [Allah] will not allow the deeds of those who are killed in My Cause to go to waste and will admit them into the gardens of paradise.
Woe to those who are skeptical when a surah is revealed mentioning war.” “Do not get weak-kneed and sue for peace, for you will have the upper hand.” “If you have a treaty with such people, retaliate by breaking it off.” “Your Lord sent you from your home to fight.” “And Allah said to the angels, ‘I am with you; go and strengthen the faithful. I shall fill the hearts of the infidels with terror. So smite them on their necks and every joint, and incapacitate them, for they opposed Me and Muhammad. Whoever opposes Allah and His Apostle should know that Allah is severe in retribution. The [Christian] infidels will taste the torment of Hell.’” Allah said, “‘It was not you [Muhammad] who killed, but me.

His words and his deeds define him. Islam was a failed religion until Muhammad became a terrorist. By definition a terrorist is someone who targets civilians for the purpose of establishing their own regime. This is precisely what Muhammad did. First he and his followers raided caravans, killing civilians, ransoming some, selling others into slavery, keeping some as sex slaves. Pillaging, taking booty, the spoils of war, became a central pillar in Islam. Killing for Allah became a scriptural mandate.
