So here we have an important news story about how a new chairman of British Airways may be introducing job cuts. The person in question has a deserved reputation for cutting cost and running a tight ship. Of all the adjectival phrases they could use to describe the man, the best they could find is "pint sized".

What rubbish reporting. By all means discuss the pros and cons of his past performance, but pint sized (may require subscription) (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/main.jhtml?xml=/money/2005/10/04/cnba04.xml&menuId=242&sSheet=/portal/2005/10/04/ixportal.html) seems pejorative
