This was emailed to me by my friend, Dr. Harvey Slatin (of Los Alamos fame.)
I thought it was pretty damn cool. Not just the article, but that at 90, Harvey is active, alert, and doing just damn fine. In fact, he does not leave a room without shamelessly kissing the cheek of every woman.
Go Harvey.

Well...I read the article. I guess I know a little more about rocketry than what I did.
But I'll settle on something as mundane as someone saving me up to 3 mpg on my car, like those people from the Tornado fuel saver think they can do for us on our cars.
I don't plan on going anywhere, anytime soon, in a rocket. And I sort of hate to see our government spend my money on rock gathering missions to nearby planets. At this stage of the game, I would settle for just reading something on just how they THINK we can get to our closest steller neighbors to see if any aliens reside over in that neck of the woods.
Is re-doing some plumbing with liquid rocket fuel propulsion going to cut it for achieving such a goal?

Fowlsound, did you have to go through your dreaded hospital procedure yet?

I'd hate to be riding one of these if it started pinking.
