Dolphins, Foeti, and Your Moment of Zen

For those of you who missed The Daily Show, the Moment of Zen was a report on some cable news channel (I couldn't identify it, but google news gives me mostly NBC stations) showing some pregnant woman getting nosed at by dolphins. Seems that dolphin calls may help fetus development. Anyway, they cut back and it looked like the woman on the right in the purple apparently has her eyes in the back of her head, she's rolling them so hard. The woman on the left was cooing about how "dolphins are very in tune with humans," to which her compatriot muttered out, "Well, maybe it works and maybe it doesn't."

I saw the story on Good Morning America (http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/Health/story?id=1225556) (while ellipticalling at the gym). Pregnancy has a set of woo all its own.

Sing it! I'm four months along and the magazines have some ads for weird woo-woo stuff, like a 'learning system' that you strap to your belly to teach things to the child. Ooookay.

I don't have any dolphins handy, but I'll try to get my ferrets to talk to my belly. They make a great chuckling noise.
