two peices of the marble removed from under a block at the Bimini Road.
Because the stones were found tightly wedged under a block, essentially buried there, it is highly unlikely that they are ballast dumped from a passing ship

No, It is well known the Greater Gods and some of the lesser ones took a huge dump on that spot, as they were frequently on holiday in that area. Chuthulu was known for his basaltic defecations.

Do you have a point, Kilik? Because no-one is going to read those links unless you do.

Don't fret it - Kilik can't even read his own link content properly himself! :D
Here's an example from the first linked site:Follow-up research on what skeptical geologists and one archaeologist have written uncovered a hoax that falsified reports on the site utilizing pseudoscience.
From the second link, in the Conclusion:But those who carefully consider the evidence presented herein, and who also discern the truth about the claims made by skeptics, will probably come to the conclusion that the most fantastic thing about this entire affair is how the archaeological and geological community have let a hoax continue for so long—seemingly even actively supporting it.

So what's the question Kilik? If you bother reading the article that you copied and pasted the headline from, you will realize that the article makes the statement that it's just a hoax. So, what's the question again?

http://www.parascope.com/articles/0997/atlantis.htm:
Another red herring that has thrown off Atlantis seekers at Bimini are stone pillars on the ocean floor that resemble shattered marble columns. These artifacts were actually formed by barrels of cement and similar materials that sunk from ships and hardened underwater, leaving stone casts after the wood staves of the barrels rotted away.

Kilik, I think you've got it! Even skeptics can be fooled. Even skeptics can be wrong. And even complete hoaxes can even get into public knowledge as truth! Amazing, isn't it. That's why it is necessary to really put something to the test before believing it, and why it is necessary to question the claims of even those that seem to have authority on something.
Good work. It would be nice if you gave a little bit of your own explanation when posting, but if posting links, quotes, pictures, and short vague commentary is as far as it really goes, then by all means find some more cases where skeptics, authorities, popular ideas, etc. were proven wrong because their claims were not questioned! I'm sure you can find more.

Catch phrases? So you think "logic" and "critical thought" are just catch phrases, along the lines of "Don't have a cow man"? Ooooookaaaaaaaay.
This explains much about you. I am sure that reading and beleiving every gorram thing you read is so much better than actually thinking about it, and applying logic, which is, after all just a catch phrase, soon to be as passe as "Where's the Beef?".
I eagerly await finding out which magic card you will post as refutation of my words. I hope it's Juzam Djinn, personally.

Yes, that's right, you've finally caught out all those stupid skeptics who go on and on and on about reason and logic and other nonsense like that.
Look at all those crazy scientists, they use those worthless things and, as we all know, they are wrong! A clever thinking person like yourself, kilik, who can see beyond science, knows that they're wrong so, obviously logic must be wrong, right? The Atlanteans, as every intelligent person knows, developed their CD players without using any of that science rubbish. Of course they were helped by thoth who seems to be on a bit of an extended holiday and hasn't been around much so, today, we need to develop CDs the way the Egyptians invented their pyramids, right.
I finally realised all of this after practicing the ancient zen qi yoga breathing techniques and followed by super secret farting techniques known only to the prehistoric priests who passed on their knowledge to me via mind meld.
None of this logic and critical thinking nonsense for us eh kilik!

That's because these are all the things concerning the discovery and usage of facts, things you should have become familiar with during your education. You see, "fact" is a giant conspiracy and it has sent us to wash your brain. We'll start by scrubbing all this Thoth and Graham Hancock out, until your opinions about what ancient people were like are no more. And then we shall force you to think, in ways that do not remove the danger of you being previously wrong! Mu ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Being stuck on the graveyard shift, I read the article. Actually, it was interesting. The author asserts there was a maritime culture in the Bahamas 5 or 6 thousand years ago. He never claims it is Atlantis or other technologically advanced culture.
Is a 5 to 6 thousand year old culture in the Bahamas out of the question? If so, why?
Don't get me wrong, I am not defending Kilik or his beliefs, I just thought the author had some valid arguments and I admit my ignorance in archeology and ancient history.
p.s. graveyard shift makes you loopy!

Yeah, I think the guy worked with some Edgar Cayce people on this project, but that absolutely doesn't mean he comes to the exact same conclusions. And he even said theatthe EC people were very unbiased and saw what is there not what they wanted to see necessarily, or jumped to conclusions
