So let me get this straight - Pat is identifying an "Intelligent Designer" God with the Christian God - Jehovah? Isn't there ample proof that Jehovah was an idiot?

I guess this is an apporpriate thread for an "Intelligent Designer" joke--an old one:

An electrical engineer, a mechanical engineer and a civil engineer were arguing about God. The electrical engineer argued that the Almighty Himself was an electrical engineer, as evidenced by the the Creator's use of electrical impulse systems for sensation, motion, and control of autonomic function. The mechanical engineer argued that the Almighty Himself was a mechanical engineer, as evidenced by the brilliant construction of bones, muscles and organs. The civil engineer, of course, argued that God was a civil engineer: "Who else but a civil engineer would run a sewer line through a recreational area?"
