The Rave Act (http://www.insidevc.com/vcs/national/article/0,1375,VCS_123_1895377,00.html)
Simple solution: don't have parties.

The government should leave people alone. When people operate outside the law they become almost immune to the rule of law. (You wouldn't get very far suing the promotor of an illegal rave because you would have to admit you were doing something illegal in the first place) If people had the right to put whatever they wanted in thier bodies without worrying about the nanny state government, then government could do it's main job, which is protecting people's rights. And of course they wouldn't need such high taxes to run the drug war, gov't could make millions selling drug liscences and taxing drugs near cig and alcohol levels.

Simple solution: don't have parties. I hope you are joking:
"All you have to do is prove drug use is going on at an establishment to go after the organizers," said Bill Piper, spokesman for Drug Policy Alliance. "In theory, they could go after you if one person smokes marijuana at your barbecue, the law is written so loosely, you could face 20 years in jail and a half-million-dollar fine."
This is an especially insidious law reflecting the government’s paranoia about drugs.
