Am I the only person who could see this guy coming?

I read through Kramer's correspondence with this whackjob, and the only thing I could say about it was "Uh, yeah."

And then he has the audacity to claim Randi owes him a million.

Kramer, dude, you have my complete respect for dealing with these clowns.

There was a previous thread about this person. http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=41560&highlight=Gosts
Someone worked out in September that 'it's obvious this guy needs help'

You mean two million!

Wow... it's amazing how his page on his own website spirals quickly into random free association and word salad...a rival for TimeCube, but minus the clarity.

'Word Salad' ... must remember that one :)

'Word Salad' ... must remember that one :)

It's a term of art in psychology; one of the symptoms of schizophrenia.

What's he up to, I wonder."

Exxorcism? Sêance? Or perhaps he - phallelujah - found Gawd?

He might be setting out to defame JREF in public. Or maybe he's just nuts (!)

I love the "What's he up to, I wonder?" from KRAMER. :D Great quote.

Considering the most recent developments, maybe he was hoping that JREF wouldn't send him his purchases, so that he'd have a sane reason to contact the fraud division of the police department...

Mr. Maguire would make a charming forum member.

I'm not sure what the requirements might be, but at what point can JREF file a restraining order? Can such an order require that the person stop making harassing calls? And would it do any good? (Never mind. I think I know the answer to that last one.)

Having just checked out the web site that Mr. Maguire included in his correspondence with Kramer, I suspect that he may be in serious need of professional help, or he really has nothing better to do. The "Man from a Hell" and "Woman from a Chatholic Hell" pictures are quite interesting. They remind me the "I am better than your kids" series.

They have been up for months. I wonder what he is like to meet? Like what does he do for a living? Friends? Or is he a hermit?

John Maguire is in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
A search on "Anywho" or other online telephone directory
will find his telephone number.
BUT best not to get involved with strange fools.

I know of another "eccentric" who made all sorts of claims
about some Rotary Phase Converter that would save lots
of electricity while powering three phase motors from
single phase power. Now he promotes some gas mileage
doubler device.

Jack is obnoxious fool who manages to make everyone
who meets him or corresponds by e-mail to dislike him.
He has NO TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE but says he knows
someone else who made the devices, he is just "promoting"
them. With promoters like Jack, who needs enemies? ;-)

Any time someone bothers to actually test Jack's devices
and the results don't show anything special or "overunity"
Jack says they are "stuck in the box fools with worthless
edus" and that soon their science will be obsolete and
Jack will be a billionaire. ;-)

Anyway I ignore Jack now, but a few skeptics try to reason
with Jack. He goes beyond silly e-mail rants that he use
to send a dozen a day to hundreds of e-mail addresses.
He has called someone at work and left insulting messages on
their voice mail. Others who where unlucky enough that Jack
got their telephone number have reported similar incidents.

Jack also harrased James Randi, trying to win the challenge. Randi had to
tell Jack to stop harrassing him a year or two ago.

Back in 1996, he was seemingly capable of stringing two words together..

Methinx he took too much of his "Brain Medicine"

:D

How to obtain a powerful brain? Good nutrition and a drink to make you think. A think drink: Mix three to six tablespoons of lecithin granules (pr take capsules) with one tablespoon of vinegar (which is acetic acid) in a non-alcoholic beverage.

I'd post the link to the website, but Im not allowed to.. so just google "John N. Maguire III" "Alcohol Alternative" if yer interested..

"She was Spanish, and did not speak the language, which was Latin."

Granted, there is a fair difference - but anyone who knows Spanish is at LEAST halfway to being able to understand Latin.

I agree, it's sad. What worries me is his intermittent ability to spell "ghosts" properly.

Wow.

It is a possesser organization, that deals and steals people life e

And there -- in exactly this manner -- the pathetic message ends. What happened? Did a gost get John? Did the networks refuse to pick up the show for the new season? =@.@= Say it ain't so!

P.S.: I wonder whether his "American Patriot Friends Network" is affiliated with Happy Tree Friends. They seem similar in so many ways, kindred spirits, separated at birth, etc.
