Hey guys! Why all this flimsy stuff? Apply for and win the JREF million-dollar prize to find anything with a dowsing rod, then you can start a fully-staffed agency for uncovering The Bad Guys! Oh! Where was that? California? Figures...
Perhaps there was a time when number of kooky things in California was higher than the national average, but in 2003, kookiness seems to spread pretty evenly throughout the U.S. Beside, we are supposed to be skeptics, not bigots. Lighten up on the west coast.

Dear Ladewig,
I agree. However, you must realize the skeptic that made the comment about California has a "slamming" mode of communication to begin with.
It could be instructive to go through his commentaries and make a tally of "slamming" words and phrases.
Sincerely yours,
S. Holmes

Ah- but every epidemic has a "patient 0", and the evidence points sqarely at So Cal, and Hollywood in particular;)

Hey, I slam California just to keep everybody's mind off of Texas.
And no, I haven't shot anyone all week.
Well, it's been a slow week. :p
