Girl 6 has decided to attend TAM4. I'm glad.

She wants everyone to know that she will be producing the forum badges, as she did last year. If you want your real name on the badge, please PM her on Skeptical Community or use this email address: girl6@mail.com

Hutch, can you send the latest list of forum attendees around January 15 or so?

Girl 6 would also like to organize the forum party. Chaos, the Chocolate Challenge takes place at the party. "The dress theme for the party is, of course, fishnets and/or corsets for the women." For the men, unspecified. That's my kinda dress code.

SkepticScott: Girl 6 would like to volunteer at the registration desk. Please contact her about it.

~~ Paul

Very good news indeed, especially as I have her on the list to go...

Consider it sent 15 Jan/unless I forget (you guys make notes to remind me, huh?

Hmmm, renata, G6 and rebecca will all be there--I wonder if a request for 'Special Dispensation" from Randi would be in order?

OK, I'll stop being a trouble-maker and go collect names...

Rocky Horror?

I could even do my "famous" Kate Bush impression...

Hmmm... Then again, maybe not...

Shall we all resign from the board and send our message through Paul and have done with it?

Or perhaps we could examine why we would want to meet with someone who refuses to post on the board? Or why that person would support the JREF but refuse to post on the message board?

It's just ridiculous.

Well, it is....odd.

Analysis to paralysis, people. And frankly, I'd rather you didn't invent problems that probably aren't there. If these people do or do not choose to post here but support JREF all the same, what of it?

Did you just refuse to show your evidence??

Bad move, so close to Christmas...

Sheesh. Evidence shmevidence. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analysis_paralysis) And would you like me to carry you round at TAM just in case your legs don't provide proof they will work each morning??

:D

You can carry me if you won't ask for evidence that my legs won't work....

What about a person who supported the JREF but wasn't ever a member of this forum? Would you say the same thing about him?

There was someone at TAM I who stopped posting here. Wasn't suspended in anyway, just left in a huff over moderation issues if I recall correctly. I only managed to talk briefly with that person, because we met minutes before the start of a session. If we had more opportunity to chat then or later I would have enjoyed the opportunity. No reason to bring such forum issues to TAM.

I will afford Girl 6 the same. Actually more, since I already know her from previous TAMs and know what a good person she is.

You can carry me if you won't ask for evidence that my legs won't work....Oh no, that will be up to you...and your legs. After all, they're the ones that will need the repeated validation. ;)

Looks like we can use the hospitality suite for the forum party. Girl 6 will DJ. Bring CDs with your fave mixes.

Dinner at the Peppermill on Thursday night.

Hey Walter,

I think I know who you're thinking of. I was at TAM1 myself and met a british guy who had been a fairly prolific poster from the early days of the forum. His nick was: "TitanPoint" IIRC. He told me that he wanted to quit the forum but didn't trust himself not to come back. So he created a really long randomly generated password that was impossible to remember changed his forum password to that and then deleted all reference to that password.

Seems a bit neurotic...but he was a nice fellow...just a little strange. All I remember about him was that he kept telling everyone the same story about how he quit the forum.

It takes all kinds to make a world...

Girl 6 reports that she has the badges ready to print. She's waiting a few days to grab avatars, so people have time to replace holiday avatars with their usual ones.

Hutch, thanks for maintaing the official forum attendees list.

Arh, CDs are so pre-millennium. MP3s, baby.

Claus gets a kick in the pants.

Two hunters shoot at the same duck. The duck falls to the ground. They get into an argument of who shot it.

Hunter 1: "Hey, I know. Let's kick each other in the balls, and the first one to give up, gives up the duck. I'll go first."

Hunter 2: "......OK."

(Hunter 1 kicks Hunter 2 in the balls)

Hunter 1: "You know...you can have the duck!"

We have to be sure to have a decent CD player!!!!

If I remember last year you really couldn't hear the music.

ahh! Maybe we can hire that piano player from TAM2? If he hasn't had his heart attack yet.

As for Claus...I like him, he is an equal opportunity kind of man. Yeah Claus, we compared notes and I was proud to say I was included - thanks!!!

I know for sure you really meant to refer to Quinn, and not that awful guy at the Tuscany lounge.
