When I saw a bit about it on Sky News before christmas, not only did I find it highly question, It left me a wee bit unnerved.

So, what do y'all feel about it?

BTW - I 'm recently feeling as turned on or attracted to men as much I do with women.

Basically, all I'm asking is ( and this is probably a stupid question to ask) can you be a bisexual without actually having any sexual intercourse whatsoever.

Orientation is about who you want to play with, not necessarily who you are playing with, have played with, or will ever play with.

I'm not entirely sure what the heck "degayification" means. Can someone also be devirginified? But, about the question - yes. Why not?

"But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Matthew 5:28

Yep, you're going to hell for sure if you start on any of that lusting stuff!

Yes, or no. Haha, it really depends on your school of thought. Is it the act, or the attraction, or a combination of both? This is a highly debated aspect of gender studies. What if you are attracted to, and have relations with, a third sex, which some cultures identify?

There really isn't a clear cut answer to your question I'm afraid. :) Don't believe anyone that tells you otherwise.

Whm, yes, of course you can. Just because you aren't living out your fantasies, or bending to your lusts.. it doesn't mean that you haven't got them. So even if you aren't having sex, you can be turned on by anything imaginable.

I fail to see how anyones sexual actions could change what they fancy.... :/ maybe that is just me.

Unfortunately, changing sexual tastes, or drift, is a third rail that it's politically incorrect to talk about. This is due to the unfortunate situation of gay people having to justify their existence by claiming they are born that way and cannot change. In a properly defined society, people do not hire a government to regulate sexual activity.

Hence why people are what they are, and whether they can modify it, are no longer just scientific curiosities. (Heck, people could put scientific studies of "drifting sexual tastes" to work for them to expand their horizons!) But noooooooo, we had to have asinine gods who get bent all out of shape over penises and copulation and what-not.

Does that make me a necrophiliac?

Yes you can. You can also be bisexual when you've only had experience with one gender. Like TragicMonkey said, its about what you feel, not about what you do.

Luckily i really don't care about being PC, i don't think anyone should have to defend themselves for being gay/lesbian/bi/straight.

If i don't have to defend my sexual orientation, why should anyone else have to?

Ok I guess I never learned what it meant. I always thought bisexual meant you did it with 2 women at the same time. No wonder people give me these weird looks when I tell them I am trisexual. :eye-poppi

I don't think you can "degayify" anyone. No more than you can turn them gay.

I thought it was the BBC that aired, unfortunately I missed it.
It was a documentary about 'degayification camps' in the States, run by.....
Wait for it...
Fundies of course.
See here, for example:

:jaw-dropp

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any real camps on Google.

Recently (somewhere in Texas I believe) a pastor was arrested for soliciting a police officer who was undercover as a male prostitute. The pastor claimed that he was ministering to homosexuals with the intention of converting them from homosexuality. I don't think the cop would have arrested the man if there was no mention of an exchange of money for a sexual act.
