I saw this (http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/sports/1891778) story on the local news before leaving for work this morning.

Julio Lugo - a spare to fair infielder for the Houston Astros - is the latest victim of JK's Matriarchical reign of terror. His wife, Mabely, was forcing him into an arguement in their car on the way yesterday's game and as a result Julio was forced to hit her. The Matriarchical terror then escalated until they reached the parking lot of Minute Maid (i.e used to be Enron Field) Park when he was again forced fight off the terror by grabbing her by the hair and slamming her head on the hood of their car. Julio survived the attack and was able to start at shortstop. Mabley was slacking in the hospital according to the latest reports.

We can all breath a sigh of relief that the benighted one has been able, through his super manly, precious bodily fluid retaining powers, to resist the evil mommies.
So far.

Scott Peterson is the lastest victim of MT according to our action figure.
Gets more disgusting by the minute. And not funny.

This cannot be adequately explained by stupidity.

You are right Sub and I have skirted this issue before without going past "the line". At some point it becomes a simple matter of character and it is disgusting.

Women have dozens of sexual partners per week being married and no one bitches about that until a chick comes up missing and then her husband is a "bad guy" because he had an "affair"....whoop dee doo.--Jedi Knight 05/01/03
Interesting logistic question: Who are all those alleged partners? --- The poor innocent men ... OH NO?

So far. Wow. The Strangelove reference really clicks in my mind. I now have a new mental picture of who we're dealing with.

Good to know the Astro's dropped this clown like a bad habit..

Astro's Lugo arrested for assaulting wife (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/baseball/news/2003/05/01/lugo_arrested_ap/) "We felt it was in Julio's best interest and in the best interest of the organization to put this situation behind us as quickly as possible and let Julio get on with his career elsewhere."
