Every time I open Google News it seems I get a fresh news story that suggests Palestinians are going to be fighting really soon.

Here is the latest:

Protesters storm Gaza parliament

Gaza City - Hundreds of Fatah party supporters, including Palestinian security officers, barged into the parliament compound in Gaza City on Saturday, firing shots into the air.

The demonstrators shouted "we demand the resignation of the Fatah central committee, the revolutionary council and local (party) leaders" over loudspeakers as they made their way through the compound in downtown Gaza City.

Saturday saw the second consecutive day of protests in which thousands of Fatah supporters demanded the party leadership resign, following the party's crushing electoral defeat in this week's Palestinian elections.

Me, I'm just gonna make sure that bomb shelter in my basement is stocked.

I'm not too sure this is entirely a bad thing.

Like Clemenza said in the Godfather (not verbatim), "One in awhile we gotta go to the mattresses - it cleans out the bad blood."

THE STERN FACE OF THE NEW PALESTINE
Hamas: Separate classes for girls and boys

JERUSALEM -- The incoming Hamas government will move quickly to make Islamic sharia "a source" of law in the West Bank and Gaza Strip and will overhaul the Palestinian education system to separate boys and girls and introduce a more Islamic curriculum, a senior official in the movement said yesterday.

Spelling out the domestic agenda of Hamas for the first time since the group's stunning victory in a legislative election this week, Sheik Mohammed Abu Teir also said Hamas would not go to foreign donors on bended knee if they withdrew aid to the Palestinian Authority.

Well, if there is ever a good reason for civil war, it's the genocidal, incorruptable fundy nut-cakes attempting to institute religious law.

Yikes!

Isn't sexual discrimination sorta a no-no as far as the EU is concerned? I will be curious to see, when enormity is put on enormity, how far excuses will be made for them. In any event, they certainly are positioning their people well for competition in the millenial economy.:D "Please sir, you want that falafal supersized?"
