I'm not talking about Iraq, I'm talking about Cuba.

U.S. Military wanted to provoke war with Cuba (http://abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=92662&page=1)

At first glance this appears to be a legitimate topic for discussion. On the other hand, because of the moon hoax nuts, 9/11 conspiracy nuts, and such, there is no way to talk about it here without being dismissed as a conspiracy nut one's self.

On the other hand, it was a Democrat in the White House then, so maybe it is OK. ;)

If nothing happened, where is the conspiracy? Or is the absence of these acts further proof?

I dunno. ABC has a problem with credibility when it comes to shocking documents.

If nothing happened, where is the conspiracy? Or is the absence of these acts further proof? Come on Ed. Do you really think ABC news would report this if it wasn't true? You and your critical thinking and skepticism.

Dude. That book (and the story) are five years old. Where did you even find that link?

The definition of a conspiracy is just a group of people working together to do something illegal or otherwise "wrong." If they eventually decide, "Nah, that's a dumb idea," it's still kind of a conspiracy. Just not a conspiracy in a particularly meaningful sense.
