Catholic college students need a handbook and a judicial system to punish sins of the flesh (http://www.holycross.edu/departments/dos/website/judicial_affairs/sexual.htm)

Table of Contents

Letter from Fr. Michael McFarland
Pastoral letter
Sexual Decision-Making and Human Values: A Call to Discernment and Dialogue
Statement of Church teaching
Sexual Misconduct Policy
Guide for Students booklet
Resources for Survivors booklet

Holy Cross? More like Holy Sh*t! You go to school there and they bring you before a "Judicial Affairs" court if you're caught making love outside of marriage and enjoying it. Probably even if you didn't enjoy it.

I don't know whether that's wrong or..... hot.

Complete with a "Resources for Survivors booklet"?!?!?!?! Mother Mary F*cking God. I'm not some kind of biggot, but Christ you guys suck. Thank god I ain't catholic no more.

Oh yeah, "pray for me". Thanks!

American,

Did you even bother to read the document you're criticizing? It's simply a campus policy on sexual assault of the sort required of universities receiving federal funding, pursuant to the 1992 amendments to the federal Higher Education Act. It looks just like hundreds of other such written policies at colleges and universities around the United States. The only difference is that there are some prefatory remarks urging students to reflect on Catholic teachings about sexuality. The policy itself has nothing to do with Catholicism and sticks to the basic requirements set forth in Title 20, § 1092(f)(8) of the U.S. Code.

The only offenses under the policy are sexual penetration without the partner's consent, sexual touching without the partner's consent, sexual exploitation, and sexual harassment. Again, in this respect, it resembles pretty much any other college sexual misconduct policy these days.

The "Resources for Survivors" booklet you ridiculed is simply a manual dealing with medical, legal and counseling issues relevant to people who have been sexually assaulted.

Use your head before posting. I guarantee it will make your denials of bigotry more convincing.

AH, but you see then it wouldn't be American. His "reasoning" and "theories" are different from other folks. And if he thought before he posted, then his method of, "Throwing out "theories" real quick so he can be something like 70% right". I recall that Smart girl thread.

Remember, American has been here longer than kook has, so his thought process must be better.

Nah not better, just FASTER and with good probable odds that it's right and fast at the same time. Ever hear of the "shotgun approach"? Lots of companies practice it in medicine. They call it "high throughput", but that's just fancy talk for "shotgun".

Some of your reasoning is good, LeFevre, but you need to get with the cutting edge, baby!

You don't reason at all American, you talk *****. You feel something and throw it out there wishing that you are right in the end.

You are fast to jump to conclusions.

But you are American, thus making you better than all other posters from them dang foreign lands

What are you talking about American? You admitted to what you do in the Elizabeth thread IIRC. You throw out a bunch of thoughts you have and hope you are right.

Sounds like something Douglas Adams would have written:

"American's uncanny thought processes and efficient arguing style enabled him to be almost always entirely incorrect."
