Luigi Cascioli, who sued a local priest under the Italian "Abuse of Popular Belief" law, had his case thrown out of court. In addition, the judge recommended that Cascioli be investigated for slander.

As we knew it would be. I recall Premachand (?) bring up a lawsuit against Sai Baba charging him (for "miraculously" producing gold Rolex watches from nothing) for everything from importing gold without a license to infringing on Rolex trademarks and patents. The judge claimed these were miracles and thus not under the rule of law. :rolleyes:
