The JREF is in The USA?!?!?!?!!!!
No, the JREF is in His Majesty's American Colonies, where its colonial inhabitants are permitted to reside by the graciousness of His Majesty King George VI. As His Gracious Majesty's loyal tax collector, I hereby order all colonials to pay their taxes to me. As a matter of convenience, however, you may pay by bank transfer, instead of my sending the Redcoats round to your house to collect.
As a token of your tribute to His Gracious Majesty, you will pay willingly. Failure to do so will result in the seizure of the colonies by force.
Oh, and JREF commentaries must henceforth have a more global perspective.
You have been warned.

Hands up anyone surprised by this. At least Bidlack is consistent.

I've read a number of blurbs and stories and what-not from the perspective of people living in other countries, saying "our land" even though I'm not living there. I don't get offended, as it is clear who that is referring to. I'm not about to walk up to someone in England or Japan or Norway and tell them I found their speeches to be nation-centric and they should point out there are places outside the borders and never once use all inclusive phrases, because that would be stupid.

Basically what I'm saying is: he is talking about something having to do with America and he also lives there. It's perfectly acceptable to talk about it from the perspective of a citizen there and he was speaking on behalf of Americans. It may have mainly interested Americans, but I would think people in other countries might take interest in that perspective in the same way I would when hearing someone being critical of their government in some other country.

Chillax.
