WHY I AM STILL A HOMOEOPATH

………Four months ago a woman member of the family, aged 50, was sent to hospital for the operation every woman dreads – hysterotonomy plus. She made a most remarkable recovery: a day or so after the operation she was able to dispense with the pain-killing drugs now orthodox in surgical wards, her wound scar cleared up in double quick time, and she got back to normal life and the joy of real active living within 2-3 months. It was due to good surgery plus homoeopathy in secret. The local doctor is allopathic, so we arranged for the patient to have a supply of bellis, hypericum and arnica in her handbag, and as soon as she “came round” she was able to ask for her “sweets”. Then, when visiting times came, her relatives brought along small supplies of these vital homoeopathic medicines. The post-surgical cough which worries the surgeon and sometimes ruins the patient was quickly disposed of with bryonia.
Yet – the General Medical Council refuse to include homoeopathy in the recommended curricular of the Medical Schools. Is it blind ignorance, mere prejudice, or vested interest?


Apart from the spelling of hysterotonomy, seems not much has changed over the last 50 years .
