Rupert Murdochs mother is supposedly from a Jewish Family, I'm not absolutely sure if it is true or not. I can't see what relevance it would have to anything. Having a Jewish mother was good enough for the Nazis to send someone to a death camp, apparently it is also good enough for the racists that publish the articles that our new poster places here in contravention of posting rules....

I truly hope this is not a sockpuppet stunt by someone who is trying to make some point about censorship, I think we need to send a clear message to the bigots that peddle this sort of stuff. Hmmmmm as far as racial slurs go, how often do you hear the word "kike" being used in movies and TV?

In a way Brando sort of makes sense. If an industry has a certain ethinic group has greater influance its only natural that they'd be more sensitive to how there own race is being portrayed. I'd be really suprised to see a black sploitation film shown on BET.

Especially in the phoney asskissing world of Hollywood. If you had one script to pitch Steven Speilburgs studio you'd probably wouldnt choose the one about "the plight of a group of young Palistinian youths during the infitada."

I gave the subject a quick googling, but the only people that seem to mention it are David Irving's website and this abbc.com thing. They're a bit vague on whether she's Jewish or merely from a Jewish family - and they only seem to quote each other as references. Some websites refer to him as merely a "suspected" Jew.

Interestingly, the search showed up some Jewish resources which specifically refer to Murdoch as non-Jewish, e.g.

True enough. Of course, the real antisemitism is not in pointing out that jews dominate this or that field. It's hardly surprising that, out of a few thousands fields of employment, jews dominate two or three, like WASPs dominate others and Chinese still others.

The problem is the implication that, if jews are strongly represented in ANY field whatsoever, from Auto Mechanics to Zoology, then it is "proof" of the "evil zionist conspiracy" to do so, probably as part of a conspiracy to take over the world (or America).
