View Full Version : Converting gays into republicans.

A Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate in Ohio wants to make homosexual behavior a capital crime punishable by the death penalty.

….

"I believe that the United States has been moved in a Godless direction by the courts," he told the Sandusky Register. "To get good men on the court, we need good senators."

….

Keiser told the Register the United States should make conversion to Christianity part of the war on terror to teach Muslims the error of their choice in religion.

The candidate also decries evolution, saying it is contrary to the Declaration of Independence.

"The teaching of evolution works against the liberties we have in the United States," he told the paper. If a person believe in evolution, he or she "has no rights," he's quoted saying.

Meh. I don't think the parties can control who runs in their primaries in Ohio like they can in some other states. Bump this thread when he shows up as anything other than statistical noise in a poll and maybe it'll be worth talking about.

So, Theocracy should be part of the "War on Terror" and a scientific theory is contrary to a Declaration of Independence? Damn, this is guy is a bonafide idiot.

Phelps is playing on a whole different spectrum than Republican/Democrat (or even the sane/crazy spectrum).

Phelps was a supporter of Gore until he decided that Gore wasn't anti-gay enough, which is to say, at all. Phelps ended up protesting Gore's father's funeral.

And the anti-abortion bill in South Dakota was introduced by a Democratic legislator.

Anyone wonder why I'm not a Democrat?

The petition in Nevada to amend our state constitution to require schools to put in disclaimers about Evolution was also started by a Democrat. Heh

I think he's a DINO: Democrat in Name Only. Nobody is that stupid without an agenda or wanting attention media-wise.

I had wondered what it would take to make Badnarik look like a reasonable candidate. Thanks for solving that little mystery.

from the link to WTOL-TV:
Keiser has no political background. He says the only reason he's running as a Democrat is because that's how he was registered the last time he voted.
from the WorldNetDaily link:
Liberal blogger Deborah White . . . speculated Keiser was planted by the GOP.I'm inclined to believe that.

And if this guy gets elected, we should nuke Ohio immediately (that is, right after I move to Fiji)

Just leave Cincinatti out of it. A) I have family there (kinda obnoxious family, but family nonetheless) and B) I reaaaally like Graeter's ice cream and Skyline chili.

Seems to be the case:

Keiser, 61, says he's running as a Democrat because that's how he was registered the last time he voted.
in 1916?

I’d heard that too.

I think Fred now requires those he considers friends to talk, nonstop and in great detail, about the vileness of all those homosexual behaviors. If you wouldn’t, say, decorate poster board with stick figures in sodomy and parade around Mr. Roger’s funeral, you just aren’t the caliber of person Fred would want in his church.

I just think the pictures of him with Gore are funny, must fill the both of them with regret.

The Republicans don't need to plant anyone in the Democratic Party to make the Democrats look bad.
