I never rate any of the posts. Although i somtimes figure that you can fix your threads rating in an atteptto generate interest.
Why would you rate a post? Does anyone pay attention to the ratings?

Yes I like the ratings but unfortunately AOL won't let one use it. Posters must like the idea or no one would use it:D

I rate them sometimes. Always a 1 or a 5, never anything mediocre. I usually rate as a 1 any thread that seems designed specifically to start a flame war. Usually 5s only go to threads that someone else has already rated as a 1, if I disagree with the rating.
I pay attention to the ratings, but not to see what to read. Only to let me know what others think about a particular thread.

I love the rates too.. especially when I see threads that have the title : " Feminist, leftist, single mother, killed her 5 children, baked them in the oven and served them to their father" ,
or " Why Israelis are so blood thirsty? Is it in their DNA or in the Bible" etc...rated with 5 stars...
I love it...
